During my recent transit in Donamaria, I stayed at Hostal Rural Donamariako Benta and found it to be a convenient choice. First of all, the hotel's location was ideal, as it is only 29 km away from the nearest airport. This proximity made my travel journey much smoother and saved me from unnecessary hassle. being a frequent traveler, I appreciated the fact that this hotel is known for its restaurant. While it is only open on Fridays and Saturdays, it offers a pleasant dining experience for guests.

It was quite small, which made it slightly inconvenient to move around.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location was beautiful, close to a river and in the center of the city. The hotel facilities were well appointed, with a communal area where guests could help themselves to cold drinks on an 'honesty bar' basis. The breakfast was exceptional, with homemade jams, bread from the village bakery, and delicious handmade cakes. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the beds were changed daily and super clean.

The hotel was not connected to the restaurant as mentioned on their website, which was a bit disappointing. , while the hotel was pet-friendly, our dog was not allowed in the bar/restaurant area, which limited our options for dining with our furry companion.
